I love Mexican food, and El Ranchero is my favorite. They have the best salsa around, hands down. Friendly staff and great service. Their lunch specials are the best deal in town. Love this place!

The staff is friendly cheerful and efficient with an emphasis on cheerful. Service is prompt, without making you feel rushed and the serve-time is as good as it get anywhere. The salsa is spicy, without being overly burdened with…
Pros: Far and away the very best chimichanga I have had anywhere. Cons: Popularity makes for limited seating after about 12:30

Take it from a food critic. This place is not as good as everyone says it is. I've been to every Mexican restaurant in Middle Tennessee, and El Ranchero is only a 7 out of 10.
